Mideast Youth's biggest projects, CrowdVoice, Mideast Tunes, and Ahwaa.org, are three prongs of their main mission. Each site uses a unique design to display content generated by individual voices. CrowdVoice is an open source service that tracks social justice movements worldwide by curating data such as videos, images, and blogs. Mideast Tunes showcases underground musicians throughout the MENA who use music as a tool for social change. And Ahwaa.org is a bilingual tool for LGBT youth in the Arab world that leverages game mechanics to facilitate high-quality interactions. I helped Mideast Youth by producing and creating motion and video content from simple scripts that they provide for the past 3 years. In a couple cases, I also handled the narration and music creation. I'm proud of this work, because I helped highlight some very important issues.

Since 2006, Mideast Youth has been creating platforms and web applications that amplify diverse voices of dissent with a specific focus on access to information, free speech and minority rights. Their sites are designed to be tools in the hands of those seeking social change, providing an outlet that bridges the gap between their voice and the world's attention. Mideast Youth is dedicated to providing powerful content delivered with cutting edge, accessible design, making sure the message of social change isn't just told, but heard.
